Because the nostalgia f4ggots from every medium of entertainment always talk about the glory days. Aka the days they didn't have access to information and consumed slop. They don't want to adapt with the times.

Take movies for instance, there are a shitload of great films being made. The problem is people who claim to be cinephiles only watch shit like Marvel movies or some other dog shit. They cling to terrible franchises and pay money for merchandise then fervently defend a dog shit movie like Snow White, not realizing, their viewing and spending habits have driven the mid level movie and the marketing for movies to a terrible state they won't pay for. It's not that it doesn't exist. The same goes for sports like the NBA. People had a golden era because WGN or whatever played every Bulls game in the midwest. So even if you had a local team you got that channel and could watch the Bulls. Therefore people watched the Bulls, paid for space jam, bought the Jordans etc and now they're mad that how they consumed product doesn't exist because the medium in which to consume it changed. When they tried bringing in a new product, it wasn't the old product. They don't want change, they're pathetic fucking losers who contribute nothing.

One thing I will give the NFL credit for, at least the fans, they stick with the sport. Nobody is dick riding Dan Fouts in 2025 like NBA morons dick ride Jordan.

It’s unhealthy to dwell on the past and just be bitter about how things are now because you miss being young. I’m excited about the future of basketball and all the new insanely talented players that will take the league by storm. I hope my current generation doesn’t repeat the old ways and just hate on the future generation just because they miss being young. Not saying it’s bad to reminisce, but you shouldn’t constantly hate on the younger generation because you miss being young.
