He is 39 years old and is an absolute freak of an athlete and a genetic anomaly. The way his torso, hips and especially neck/head area is not of a normal human being.
People seem to accuse him of acai use, and he most definitely uses. Just like everyone else.
If you really think Jacare, Rockhold, Henderson, Jones, Cormier or even Bisping is not using then you are a naive person. The difference here is just pure genetics.
Also, to address something regarding the whole Tim Kennedy fight
If you go back and watch the fight against Tim Kennedy, Yoel won round 1 and was winning all of round 2, Yoel was landing & Kennedy couldn't touch him, right up until Kennedy illegally grabbed inside Yoel's glove at the final seconds of round 2 to finally land some shots on him. Under no circumstances in unified rules is it allowed to grab inside the glove to get an unfair advantage and almost TKOing your opponent. Yoel wouldnt have been on the stool in the first place. If anyone cheated it was Tim.
rule #16, subsections D & G
http://www.ufc.com/discover/sport/rules-and-regulations
''If an injury sustained during competition as a result of an intentional foul, as determined by the referee, causes the injured contestant to beunable to continue at a subsequent point in the contest, the injured contestant shall win by technical decision, if he or she is ahead on the scorecards. If the injured contestant is even or behind on the score cards at the time of stoppage, the outcome of the bout shall be declared a technicaldraw.''
They usually let unintetinal things go, but this does not look unintentional to me
Yet, has a minute extra rest (while groin strikes get up to 5 minutes) comes back and finishes Kennedy who is one of the toughest guys to finish in the division
Romero has the most salty haters out of all fighters. They're a mixture of American patriotards who don't like Cuba, racists, SJWs and MMA purists who can't stand the fact that an A-level athlete tools their favorite technical fighters, confirming the long established truth that MMA is a sport for C-level athletes that can't handle A-level athleticism.
No other fighter got as much hate for "cheating", in fact it's not even named cheating when other fighters do it. Fighters constantly bend the rules, they grab the fence, eye poke (something Romero never did for example), grab the shorts of the opponent, grab the gloves, try to take time off any way possible, deliberately spitting out mouthguards (Bisping vs Anderson), turn their back against their opponents etc. yet besides Romero is labeled a "cheater" because of it, not even Jon Jones and Travis Browne. Machida got busted for over the counter thing, no one bitches about it, Frank Mir busted for steroids - no one cares. Cro Cop took steroids - no one cares. Hendo is a "legend" here yet was roided to the extent which is even hardly humanly possible for the most of his career. Vitor also gets much more love than Romero. Romero gets busted for tainted supplement, gets cleared and USADA had to practically apologize on their knees and yet he's a "cheater".
