Same reaction to Overeem's 5k. lol.

Better sit back, relax and grab a six pack now. Shit is about to go down.

Only people that profit from this is Rebox and UFC

Shoutout to Struve making that big boy monies.

5k for Econoreem, unbelievable. Same sponsor pay as Khabilov, Tuck, and Krylov lmao. That's maybe a month's worth of horse meat.

UFC HW Headliner and key to the European market making less than a no namer on Bellator undercard makes in "Sponsorships"

Is it time to boycott Reebok yet? Kinda hard considering nobody really wears their products...

Lorenzo, Frank and Dana are fucking parasites.

I wouldn't touch Reebok even if I were homeless.

I still don't know what's worse. The abysmal payouts or watching someone like Anderson Silva wearing shorts that are so painfully generic that he looks like he's fighting on TUF.

It's got to be the money, you had guys making into the hundreds of thousands before on one fight.

At least Reebok is about to open up the color palette, awfully modern of them.

All of us have spoken against this many times.

But hey, if the fighters are OK with that shit pay that they are giving them, then go for it.

They are being payed less then McDonalds workers, and they still won't form a union or boycott the UFC or whatever.

If they are happy, we're all happy.

Meanwhile Conor, a little guy, is asking for more and more money each new fight.

I agree fully on unionization, but they are definitely not happy and they didn't agree to this deal, the higher ups did. As you said that's a downfall of being an independent contractor. Another problem with that is pay and job market, these guys (at least 80-90% I'd gather) simply cannot afford to boycott or not fight. The opportunities outside of the UFC are few and far between and hardly economically feasible.

Can someone explain this whitebelt how those sums are determined?

rofl

someone like the Reem could have pulled in 200K easy for this fight from outside sponsors
