IDK guys, when I saw this trailer, I was like , "damn, that might influence people to do domestic terrorism against the bankers"

Eventually, the game was canceled.

My theory is, that UBI soft, found the domestic group against rich bankers as a too of a taboo subject.....That such a game, might inspire people...After all this was during the occupy wallstreet movement.

I mean, just listen to the trailer it talks about attacking the people who took the bailouts, to attack the bankers, etc.....This is revolutionary talk, and quite frankly that is being avoided by the masses.......The masses just focus on race, and bullshit issues like guns, however, if they started thinking that bankers were the enemy....then woah, the establishment would be scurred.

What you sherbros think? did the corporate higher powers at UBI SOFT get scurred of the subject because it could create backlash against the rich?

Sorry, Im high and in Conspiracy mode.

Maybe it was because it's hard to justify killing the terrorists when they're the good guys? Just kidding of course, it was wrong to blow up those cabs.

Because that seems like a terrible idea, wtf. A game where you murder unarmed people

Why? Fight Club partakes in a similar plot line, as do a bunch of other movies and nothing happened.

The game was cancelled because it's release date was super close to the release of Xbox One and PS4 -- they didn't want to release something exclusive for the ps3 and 360, so they scraped it and went with Siege instead

'The bankers'....If you are angry at such a vaguely defined group you're probably a bit of an incoherent, raging asshole. Blaming the banking system for shit that goes wrong, when the US is a nation of people addicted to credit and buying things and paying later is hilarious.

People like to blame the bankers because they don't want to admit it's their own bad decisions causing all this shit. If bankers had to enforce a system where you had to live within your means you'd probably lose your shit.

Different culture, hard to judge.

I can't believe you put Ubisoft and Redpill in the same topic.

You don't know what the fuck redpill means.
Quit abusing that term.

"Redpill" is cult speak. "We know something the rest of the world doesn't. Do you want to be enlightened or be like the others"

No! The LIBOR scandal was treason. The ISDAFIX scandal was treason. Laundering money for terrorist organizations and drug cartels is treason. Crashing the world economy in a conspiracy to fix debt ratings is treason.

I mean, I brought up how messed up games were before in regards to games like Grand Theft Auto, where you can hook up with a prostitute and then beat her to death. People seemed to think that was just good old fashion fun.

If it is okay to murder women with a shotgun or a hatchet, I can't imagine why they'd draw the line at bankers.

Whenever the alt right uses that term, given what they mean by it, it's important to remember that this is one of the two people who invented the whole red pill/blue pill terminology and concept.

The term maybe, but not the concept. You can look at things like Plato's cave for similar concepts.

Cant let anyone get that idea now can they?

Its not wrong actually. It just means both sides share blame. But there is still blame on both sides.

Lets say I am trapped on an island with a drug dealer, and I am trying to stay away from drugs, or get off of it. It be in my best interest to kill the drug dealer, chop him into little pieces, and throw his parts into the ocean.

That's true but FightClub wasn't this graphic against bankers....other than the ending, it never truly showed, finding actual bankers, strapping a bomb on them and terrorizing them.

Fight Club was more focused on finding oneself in this consumer driven society, than domestic terrorism against actual bankers, at least IMO.

That sounds like BS to me also........They could've have easily just made the same game in a new engine if they truly wanted to for next gen.

I like hookers; I look like five miles of bad road, so a lot of the time it's either continue with an epic dry spell or pay for it. As long as the girl is healthy and not being forced into that life, I don't have a problem with it. And I think anyone who murders a working girl should receive exactly the same sentence as the shit-bag who kills a soccer mom:mad:

Now bankers on the other hand...;)

But the game isnt build around getting hookers and killing them afterwards...Sure you can do it, just like you can kill innocent people on the streets on GTA, but it's not about that.

Rainbow Six Patriots was just about killing bankers, it's whole idea is about killing bankers, even the trailer says it..........Now if there was a game, where you were a serial killer who killed hookers, then you could have a point.....and like Rainbow Six Patriots, it will never be made because a game where the objective is to kill hookers, would be way too of a taboo of a subject.

It probably couldn't do as much damage to our young minds as The Dark Knight did.
