I only know this guy because of him being highlight reel shadowrealmed by a spinning back elbow against Ramos. I’ve probably seen his other fights but they must not be memorable. How the hell is he fighting a legend like Aldo? Is he any good now?

Winnable fight for a legend, decent fighter with a familiar name for the locals. Not sure there's much more to it, and not my preference of a matchup with Aldo but it is a cruel world out there

I think he leaked a UFC ppv with Brock fighting on it a few years back. Now Dana wants to punish him for it

Heard he pooped himself on purpose at a Golden Corral during his auntie's birthday dinner. He's lactose intolerant and decided to have the baked mac 'n cheese anyway out of spite for his mom who was still doing his laundry at the time.

Guy's an absolute mad lad.

This is kind of a weird ass KO by him.

There was another one too, where the technique looked off but he somehow put his opponent out.

He is better than people give him credit for. Nothing he does really looks fantastic or eye-catching at first. He isn't insanely fast, he isn't throwing spinning wheel kicks, he isn't taking people down and mauling them. Instead, he just seems good at gameplanning and lulling the other guy into his style/pace of fight. He has really good feints, timing, and distance management. Dudes seem to struggle hitting him clean these days. Sorta reminds me of how Eric Nicksick described Adesanya as a "snake-charmer" -- he makes his opponent second-guess themselves and sit there taking pictures until they get sniped with one of his big punches/blitzes, or until they get flustered and try to force something and get countered coming in. Zahabi does seem to hit deceptively hard for his size, though I think again his timing and accuracy play into this, too.

His toolkit is pretty basic, but it's good for frustrating lower-level opponents and getting him some wins. Zahabi himself is no spring chicken and one would think a crafty vet like Aldo wouldn't be foiled by this particular style... but I still have a weird feeling about this one for some reason.

Zahabi is a decent fighter on a good run, that I didn't expect to reach PPV main card levels. However, I still think even this old version of Aldo shouldn't have too much trouble with him, UD.

He's pretty smart and well rounded and has been getting it done recently with his hands. Oirc he's pretty small and unimposing but he loves sloppy brawls and he's pretty good at them

Probably can't cage stall like Bautista and Merab but he's much younger and less battered I'm sure that's his defense. I think Aldo wins though

I recognize Aieman is a good fighter but it would certainly be a depressing sight to see Aldo getting beat by this guy

Redpill you?

You sound like a goofball. So caught up in new-agey lingo it sounds like you're literally being asked to be forcibly drugged by other men

You're "cooked"..... "chat"

He’s 37, isn’t he?

He is a tactical striker who fought some of the worst fighters in the UFC, mainly on Canadian cards, and was quite inactive. Then, he fought undefeated Basharat whom people didn't want to fight. He won the decision by winning 2 rounds by being smarter, and then entered the top 15 by beating Munhoz while maintaining distance
I guess Zahabi will start the fight striking and lose R1, and then try to make Aldo wrestle against the cage, but he doesn't have Bautista or Dvalishvili's skillset to do that

Nobody remotely related to Ariel aka the weasel can fight…so i know you lying Rich.

I wonder if he could beat an arm wrestler in grappling, much less MMA, unlike his brother.
