my new armor is gonna be functional armor capable of some sort of protection, the last suit was more for show and didn't provide much protection , what im referring as the prototype is the cardboard model i make first to get all the measurements right, the new suit is based off the roman lorica segmentata so it's actually quite complicated and i've made tons of mistake already on the first 2 cardboard suits, getting them to move properly and such at the shoulder joints and stuff is pretty tricky stuff especailly when u only have random pictures for refernece
 
It's a good thing you're working on that armor to be functional. I mean, if a group of uncouth ruffians decide to jump you, I'm sure you'll have enough time to have your squire help you get suited up for combat. And I completely understand the problems with cardboard armor. I lost an entire division of men in cardboard against a 12 year old with a flamethrower.

why would i need a squire to help put on my armor? and why would i have to go grab armor if a bunch of people try to jump me? i'm usually not in places or situations whre i'm gonna get jumed anyway, i don't know where you hang out in your regular life dude. and thats very nice that a 12 year old can burn cardboard armor, u only make it out of cardboard to ge the measurements right before you build it out of steel , on another note, you should get a game called mount & blade from a website called taleworlds.com

yes! but i've modified the design to make it easier to construct, and also easier to move around in, i've got the torso part down , i'm having trouble with the shoulder pads though

Ahh...memories. I remember the day this thread happened. I went in the back and didn't work for over an hour.
