It's just chaotic fun. I suck at sports games but this is just ridiculous. It's easy to pick up and do basic moves, but mastering things like boosting into the air and stuff can get difficult. Plus you're constantly unlocking stuff to cosmetically trick out your ride. Also, all vehicles are the same when it comes to speed, etc. - they only vary in size and everyone has the same starting vehicles to choose from, so what makes a pro a pro isn't some souped up add-on they got at level 20 - nobody's handicapped.

I picked it up when it was the PS4 free game, it is incredibly fun, especially with friends. I would have easily paid the 20 bucks for it

Did you ever play Monkey boxing on super monkey ball on the game cube (I think)? If you think about what made that game fun, then you'll get an idea of what makes Rocket League fun.

Never had a game cube but the game sounds interesting. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it. Everyone says RL is super addictive.

Think of it like crazy golf, it's like a fast paced spoof of a sport, with added NOS.

Bloodborne and The Last of Us just had their price cut on PSN to 19.99 today. Already played physical copies of both of these games, don't have them anymore and hard to pass up that price for the digital.

As many have mentioned, RL, absolute blast.
