Yair 2 big wins came on flukes. Ortega shoulder and a freak last minute wide elbow on Zombie when KZ. Was dominating. Omalleys 1 big win is a trash decision v Yan. Both are crazy overated n aren't serious title contenders till they get better. Volk will decimate Yair and Sterling decimate Omalley.

Emmett is arguably a better win than KZ considering he was on a 5 fight win streak and on the verge of a title shot. Yair looked good in the Ortega fight but shitty ending. Not Yair's fault. Also the close fight with Holloway is more impressive than beating KZ and Ortega anyways.

Yair is a serious title contender and in terms of getting better, well.... He's better every time we see him. He's dangerous everywhere.

Cmon. Not really a big O Malley fan but one guy losing every minute of a fight except the final second isn't really comparable to having a razor close fight with clear #2 Bantamweight in the world.

One paints a clear picture of being overrated the other doesn't.

So then is Max Hollaway an Ortega nothing then? Untill the shoulder it was a close fight and was a really close fight with Hollaway. I put both right there with Yan.

Both fighters are fun fighters to watch but neither is a true title contender imo. But Omalley n Yair are pretty much equal in terms of level imo. I see your come on and raise you a <{katwhu}>

O'Malley has better hands, yair has better kicks. Overall hands are more valuable than kicks in MMA I would say. Hard to say who has the better ceiling, it comes down to who has the better intangibles and all around skillset. Head to head I think O'Malley has the ability to piece yair up and stop him but he may not have the toughness and grit

Yeah Max took him down at will and beat him up for 5 rounds on route to an easy UD. I get it UFC has this fetish with pushing Mexican MMA right now but this dude doesn't even have a shot. Volk will maul him with ease.
 
I really really don’t give a fly off a turd about O’Malley. It really really has absolutely nothing to do with Yair. I really really don’t see the correlation. This thread is really really doofy
 
They fight in different weight classes, are we only allowed to like 1 fighter? Yair is 1 of the most exciting fighters on the roster but he's done a whole bunch of stuff that made it hard to be a fan of his.

You will almost never hear me say a fighter was ducking but he very obviously ducked Zabit. He also mysteriously kept no-showing for USADA tests, I'm not talking about once which would be understandable but he kept ducking USADA multiple times. He also acted like a jerk & made Jeremy Stephens look like a saint, which isn't always easy to do.
 
O'malley is doing everything to get his name out there and stay relevant. The same cant be said Yair tho Hes off the grid most if the time and thats not good.

Completely agree. Yair always puts on a show but he is a strange character and often a drama queen
 
Colorful hair, tattoos, and smoking pot are all official complaints of 80 year olds. Pretty sure the old timers were saying this shit about Dee Snider 35 years ago. And look at him now. A lesbian.
