Real Muay Thai in MMA

Beautiful. There's plenty of kids who enjoy a martial arts class but Muay Thai isn't for everybody and requires an individual of a certain ilk.

Doesn‘t look Thai Muay Thai

Could someone please move this to Worldwide MMA discussion.

I don't think we can say what is REAL Muay Thai in MMA or what is REAL boxing in MMA. Most MMA fighters have trained or trained Muay Thai to some degree or have MT coaches. They all adapt it to their MMA game. Same as wrestling, not every MMA wrestler will utilize every wrestling technique. Adapt and use what works best for you. Every fighting style has to adapt in MMA to the point two fighters with the same background may have different styles.

Cool vid, thanks for sharing.

Love the style and it's a beauty to watch destruction with it. Couldn't read and watch his clips lol

Thank you for the fantastic video ts. These guys complaining on here would prefer the usual mma goat trash argument threads I suppose, can't please em all. Even if it doesn't belong here its still refreshing.

I competed as an ameteur in canada, fighting about once per month to every two months. The people over there were fighting even more often than that. These people were not fighting as ameteurs right from the begining. This is why you see very young dudes with huge records over there, they fight often and fight injured. They don't pull out of fights due to a sore rib or a broken toe, they go to battle in the ring to feed their family.

In the west you hear people say its a quick turn around if they fight again in four months. In all fairness the ufc fighters need to protect the progression of their career and so must not do it like this. I am simply saying that these people are warriors. Mad respect.

In the video they mentioned heart. That is somthing these guys have in abundance. I hope this guy is making a good living for his family and obviously taking way less damage over a career. I would like to see mma camps happen in Thailand. I think there would be alot of very tough people to draw from there. From the video it sounds like 250,000 people who fight for a living and want to make a good living.

Didn't he lose the belt recently?
