Real boxers height

Yeah because some guy estimating height after standing next to a boxer is completely accurate.
Look at the Froch and Calzaghe photos.
 
hard to say, people embellish and then they say things like "i'm a shrimp" (Ray Leonard) but don't give the real height they at least think they are. looking at pics and comparing them to others only helps so much because how do we know they gave their correct heights. I remember my bro telling me how he saw stallone and he was really short but looking at pics of Franco Columbo, who really is short and Stallone, he looks about 5-10.

Yeah no way is Fury 6'9". He is barely taller than Wilder.

I got to think that Jones is quite a bit shorter than 5'11". Maybe he has shrunk with age but he's not that old. I think Chris Eubank is 5'10" and maybe a half because here he opposite George Groves who is 5'11.5"

Having hung around James Toney a bit, he is at least not shorter than the 177 cm listed here, and I would have guessed a tiny bit taller, like, say, 178. My dad was 178, and he didn't look any taller. And the training buddy I've had the longest (off and on for just over 30 years now...) is 176, and he is certainly shorter than Toney, to the point that I don't think you'd need to line them up side by side to know.
 
Fury is 6ft8 with ez.

He dwarfed my bro (Klitschko fight) and my bro is 6ft6.5

Fury posture is bad.

Some guy came here and argued with me because i questioned the accuracy of celeb heights. I swear it was the guy who ran it

see this a lot on forums, cant say i have ever been arsed if they looked taller/smaller/lighter/heavier than was described

i think this is an American thing as well....obsessed with weight/height things that have no actual bearing on the outcome of a fight
 
I've met Fury, I couldn't guage accurately but he was fucking tall, and taller than the legit 6'4 lad I was with.I know WWF overstated heights and weights for years for kudos and that, but Fury was tall, I could defo say he was easy 6'7 and after that who knows.

It is strange. I don’t really think too much about celebrity height personally. I probably wouldn’t even bring it up in conversation unless I met a celebrity that was jarringly smaller or bigger than I heard or reasonably expected them to be.
