Sure... id say so.

Cool. It's most likely going to be less of a problem for anyone shorter than him, even if they have the same type of frame, am I correct?
Yeah... i think some guys are just straight too tall for their weight, you are going to be severly out muscled if you are built like Roop at bw or Grove at mw.

Tyson was 200 pounds at age 15.and benched 300 pounds around the same time..He was k.oing adults then at that age in sparring...I would say that's as genetically gifted as one gets. his fight style was tailored around guys of 6'5 stature ,being overly taller would not have helped his style really since he works his way under and relied on going thru someones jab....he also had the speed of a light HW .Tyson had skill and genetics on his side at peak performance ........of course as you stated the taller guy who knows how to use it will have the advantage almost always as you can always find that 1 % to make a claim but the taller guy USUALLY wins in all combat sports...Struve is an example of being to tall in MMA,not many guys of that height in general are well balanced fighters.
Roger that. On the flipside what do you think are the advantages that those guys enjoy? Easier securement of certain posish and holds? Better specific angles of leverage for certain positions? I am talking aside from striking completely. I was making a joke about Rogan before, but when I think about it the only things that stand out from certain long ground fighters, relating to their length, are:
Able to reach far around opponents center to grab hold/loose extremity/etc
Able to secure body triangles easier
Good Butterfly/Able to post on opp hips well
Good at flattening out when on top back.
Nifty bottom escapes utilizing length.
Granted I'm missing intracacies of details that I've never even heard of, so by no means is this list supposed to be professional analysis.
I ask because I question Rogan's remarks in the past about that bodytype being ideal for jiujitsu, Kendall Grove being one of the people I think he has said it about. To be fair, I haven't heard him say it a while, and we all know how Joe Hogan is.
