The guy doesn't get enough love on here, and people pick against him in every damn fight yet he keeps proving them wrong.

He's everything you want in a champ, he's got an exciting and well rounded style with no real weakness. He doesn't start shit, but he also doesn't back down from anyone. He quietly goes on about his business giving zero fucks, and gets better with every fight.

While some of you are jerking off to Khabib and repeating how he beat the champ (when he wasn't the champ), RDA is taking care of business and wearing that title. While Khabib sat at AKA for 2 years talking shit on twitter, RDA was laying waste to the LW division, and improving every aspect of his game.

Too bad for him he's not Russian, otherwise he'd be praised as the greatest thing since sliced bread.

He was one of the first guys I started watching back in 08-09 and the first time I ever watched him he got knocked the hell out by that Stephens uppercut from hell but I was still a fan. One of the most memorable MMA moments I can think of is him winning that belt against Pettis. I was just so happy for him.

It's so cool to see him as champ and I hope he reigns for years to come.
 
If he hadn't gotten injured, and had beat Conor even worse than Nate did, you would see a lot of RDA avatars.

At best Khabib will win a decision in a fairly uneventful fight just like the first time. He's incapable of finishing a top 12 guy.
 
I agree with you. Rafael is a beast and I don't think I've seen any other fighter evolving like he did.

The fighter who destroyed Pettis and Cerrone is in a whole different level in comparison to the one who lost to Gleison Tibau 5 years ago.
