In theory, it could go either way, Rafael has a tremendously underrated ground game, he is a legit black belt with superb cardio and WB has shown that the ground is still a problem when Tyron Woodley took him down and gnp'd him in both fights, though he obviously would've gassed had he kept that pace and we all know what happened next (sadly).

In practice, we could have another Machida vs Shogun... High pressure Muay Thai fighter vs Counter striker Karate master? IN.
 
either fight would be enjoyable.

i think UFC gives him a TS as to create another "2 division legend" they are in need of an actually talented fighter to promote( not knocking conor who is a dick yet talented. talking of platinum, page, sage etc)
 
No. No more killing off contenders for Wonderboy.
 
I'm honestly not so sure RDA deserves it. Lawler's only win since losing the title was the decision against Cowboy (that he could have just as easily lost).
