He still found his rhythm and managed to win the first round even though the slapdick referee didn't give him five minutes to recover or any time at all and implied he was faking.

Read Twitter after that fight, all kinds of fighters went off on it saying the result would have been different. MJ included who beat them both.
 
Khabib is a glass canon.

He humiliates basically anyone (or maybe anyone) if he actually shows up to the fight and doesn't break before the fight. but despite the fact that prime Khabib might likely be the best fighter in the history of the 155 division; the fact he can very rarely fight has to count against him.

Prime Khabib is a monster and a legend; but the fact he only rarely can fight has to count against him. Don't say it's because you are "russian": Fedor never hid: he fought the best no matter what.

You retarded son? RDA's guard is fantastic. Watch any fight he gets taken down in besides Khabib. He's chaining together subs or sweeping or getting back up.

Let's calm down. He's beat one elite fighter, RDA. And should of lost to Tibau.
 
Ferguson's MMA BJJ is effective and can be applied in a fight against anyone. Even Khabib.

I still think Khabib wins because he is the best grappler in the division,maybe even the sport but Ferg is going present some problems for Khabib IMO. Esp with the layoff.
 
If he shows up in decent shape my money will definitely be on Khabib.

That's true, but that wasn't the same RDA that fights today. The RDA khabib smashed was the RDA that came really close to losing to Evan Dunham. Not the RDA that murdered Nate, Bendo, Pettis, and Cerrone all in a row. RDA significantly enhanced his performance after his loss to Khabib.

Maybe if Khabib stood with him; which he wouldn't. Nothing he's done since then has shown his grappling (which he trained for years) has drastically changed magically. Khabib humiliates RDA anytime they fight.
 
I don't think he will. The only possible way is 2 years... 2 FREAKING YEARS out of the fight game. That is enough time to get really good at something, or really bad.
 
RDA is top heavy. Ferguson never stops looking for sweeps or subs. He is constantly moving. He reminds me of a prime Sakuraba. He is a nightmare for any lay n pray wrestler.

That being said, all Khabib has to do is fight defensively on the ground and fight cautious and he could easily win a boring decision
 
I hope Ferguson starches that constantly injured wrestler. How the hell is the guy still even ranked? The dude hasent fought in 2 years!

RDA fought High, Benson, Diaz and Pettis in a less than a year after his fight against Khabib. You are making it sound like he somehow improved dramatically during that year. He might have improved, but not that much you make it sound.

After Khabib he suddenly added like 5+ pounds of muscle, leaned out, and went from gassing in 2-3 rounds to having cardio to go 5 rounds as hard as anybody in the sport.

So yea, he improved a lot.
 
Two completely different fighters. ferguson has a much more active sub game than RDA. More dynamic on the feet too imo.

The guy doesnt get enough credit for his creativity and reflexes.
