Dammit mark, this is another thread where I'm agreeing with you. Unless RDA is totally shot (it's possible), Dustin's perpetually bad takedown defence will cost him. Sad to say I don't think it'd be that exciting for a fight, either.

Prime for prime I'd take RDA all day but at this point he's hard to be confident on against higher level opponents. The Luque fight showed he can still hold his own but his unwillingness to even attempt to strike costed him the fight in what in hindsight looked like a very winnable fight on the feet.

Poirier might get wrestled a tad bit more than Luque did but I think he will also dish out more damage than Luque was able to that RDA isn't willing to match thus leading to a bit of RDA trying to stall inbetween pockets of Poirier dishing out big damage. At WW RDA might be strong enough to sneak out a win with a strength advantage but at LW I think Poirier finds a finish.

Nah Dustin *should* only be fighting top 10 guys at this point. If he loses his next one that makes more sense. Wish we could have seen this fight 5 or so years ago when they were both near the top of their games
