News Ray Longo says Chris Weidman is definitely fighting again: 'He's 100 percent dialed in'

Yeah he might be great in the training room grappling with nobody trying to knock him out. Its when he steps in the cage in a real fight while his opponent lands 2 - 3 punches to the head Chris reflexes visibly slows down and its the beginning of the end. Hopefully the UFC will match him up against a wrestler with 0 punching power for an easy win and hopefully puts his gloves down in the cage and retires from fighting.

I actually believe that he still might be a problem in the gym. Many past their prime are. It is as the 100% intensity level that the differences fully show themselves

Chris dooms like a nice guy and if he comes back I hope he does well , now having said that I really wish he wouldn’t come back

Man I love the dude, he's one of my favorite. But before that gnarly injury that would put a end to almost anyone's mma career, he already wasn't the Weidman we knew, slow, weak chin, he just didn't have it anymore, now he's 39 on top of all this?
Man that's gonna be ugly. I just don't see it. But I'd gladly be surprised, dude is mentally strong, that's a fact

What if they sign Luke back? I think based on how well Luke was hanging in with Costa he would be favored right?
Would love to see it, first fight is still one of my favorite

TBF Chris' grappling and forward pressure could really give Izzy some... Ahh i just can't do it. Hang em up Chris, you don't want to die in the cage.

He came to Yorkshire a few weeks ago for a grappling match against Owen Livesey.

The Chris vs Luke Rockhold in BKFC, no worries about leg kicks or spinning kicks that lead to take downs.

I think if Chris fought Izzy it would look similar to Cain coming back to fight Francis. In his prime, Chris would probably tap/tko Izzy on the mat but not so much now.

If you want to see Chris fight, you're a sadist.

He was already consistently losing fights in brutal fashion back in his prime, now hes coming back at 39 years old after a horrendous leg break….
