Please note that like all my other rating threads, the bout order for this event has not yet been confirmed and the one posted above is purely for the sake of the thread. With that being said, give or take a prelim fight or two, UFC 201 in Atlanta, Georgia is complete. What do you guys think of this card? With the stacked summer lineup the UFC is having so far, it comes as no surprise to me that this card isn't as stacked especially when it's following up UFC 200 so I don't have a problem with it. I wouldn't call it a good card, but it isn't terrible. It has two title fights. I also find the Lawler/Woodley matchup a bit more interesting than most people on Sherdog do. It would have been nice to see Matt Brown get a better opponent but maybe a win here can get him back on track. I also like the McCall/Scoggins & Rivera/Perez fights on the prelims. Those should be really good. My rating for this card is a 6 to at most a 6.5/10. What do you guys think?

Main card is good apart from the short fuse fight, love the Scoggins vs. Mccall fight, solid 8.

Lawler gives this card worth. MM kinda helps. But with those 2 it earns a 6 out of 10. Mat brown adds a point for me. So 7 out of 10.

looks pretty shitty, but will probably be an amazing card. thats usually how it works

8/10.

Robbie Lawler, Thug Rose, Matt Brown and DJ. Pretty good.

You made up a ppv with a bunch of prelims so we can't rate it

This card is somewhat stacked, I'd watch it :)

I'm looking forward to MM. The Rose fight as well. There are a few good fights here. But the ME does nothing for me.

6/10 on paper.

It could be higher for the actual fights though.

Rose is probably my favourite female fighter but neither of the title matches gets me particularly excited. Could they not have made Matt Brown V Gunnar Nelson? That might have been more interesting. I am from the UK so don't have to pay PPV so can't complain too much. Would not be happy to pay PPV for this.

Rose taking this fight with Karolina is dangerous. She was already pretty much the #1 contender in everyone's eyes. I see this matchup being difficult for her stylistically. That being said, Rose still has a lot of room to grow and even coming off of her last win, I didn't see her posing many threats to the champ. More fights before another title opportunity just means more growth, so I can't hate on her decision to take another fight.

Not bad. 6/10

Fight Pass part is terrible but rest of the card has potential for some violent finishes.

Also LOL at Ed Herman and Krylov being on PPV.

Is he? Thsts awesome.

Im a bit outa the loop. Lol. Cancun doesnt get good reception ;)

Seems fitting to open up a PPV to me. All of Krylov's wins have come via finish and he's on a 4 fight win streak. Herman is coming off that monster knee KO of Boestch and has been consistently exciting throughout his career. The matchup fits the profile for what the UFC usually looks for in a PPV opener.

I'll be attending since I recently came into some extra money. But I can't go any higher than 6/10. It's nice to have 2 title fights but DJ vs Brown rice doesn't do anything for me.

I like it more than I like 199 (which was the first UFC i've outright skipped in a LONG time with no other major plans because I thought the fights were too obvious to pick the winners...... :( ).

I don't think Robbie is some great champion, but he is a warrior and everytime he fights there is a decent chance the belt will change hands, so 201 is a great card in my book.
