Yeah, I loved that one and Memento is still my favorite of his.

It's also his best written film as well. Just really really compact w/ detail and a great story. The black and white story still really works... so does the ending. I also liked the soundtrack and colors as it's more of a thriller.

I'd put Inception or Prestige above it because of rewatchability, but it's easily better than Begins, Rises and Interstellar (and the rest, by far).

I still enjoyed TDK over this which id give a 9.5. It was just more complete to me. More matured in a sense. Plus the action scenes and acting get taken up another notch in this one. To me, its the definitive comic book film. Begins is not far behind though.

I didn't care for Inception. It looked cool but was a mess like a lot of his stuff can become. Interstellar was solid as well but I only watched it once. I've watched Memento several times as well as The Prestige.

What did you think of Insomnia, TDKR and Dunkirk?

...I actually thought Inception, for all it does right, was a step backwards from The Dark Knight in terms of directing and story, though it worked well overall.

It started a new more serious era of Batman and he's by far my favourite superhero.
Batfleck was brilliant as an aging Batman and I'm interested in seeing how Twilight is in the new one but it was all kicked off with Batman Begins.
The trilogy was only screwed up, and this sound harsh, because Gyllenhall replacing Katie Holmes was just not right. Not nearly pretty enough.
