The reason Arvolski is on the main card is because he is fighting Tai who is an exciting Heavyweight prospect with huge potential.

i was not saying it is the wrong line up or does not make sense from a business prospective. i was commenting that even a few years ago a line up arranged in this fashion with these fighters would be a huge shock. esp AA who was considered finished for some time.

As a UFC fan this is a stacked card. For those that don’t have the means or opportunity to watch the main card ppv they get a chance to watch some good fights on prelims. The whole CM Punk thing is what it is but at least they filled up the rest of the card with good matches.

i think for the fly weights they want fight pass fans(generally more hardcore fight fans) to see Joe B fight. and if he loses to sergio then Joe B is prob done. he can rest a while and live off his wife and commentary before he fights again.
