Rashad Evans on if Dana takes care of his fighters

He says yes, absolutely. Dana is a very down to earth guy and if they ask him for something he rarely says no. Also that Dana does a lot for his fighters but doesn't brag about it. Basically, if Dana gives him something, you won't necessarily know about it. As opposed to, lets say, Jake Paul, who gives you stuff so everyone can know about it and talk about how awesome he is.

I am sure Dana does a lot for the fighters he likes which would include Rashid. His been a good company man over the years. You don't want to advertise that stuff and turn it into an expectation.

I actually think more pay is actually bad publicity for Dana with the investors. I think that is why they prefer to top people up with PPV cut rather than a higher base pay.

As a boss, it's ridiculously paternalistic to "take care" of another man when he asks for your help.

Maybe pay them accordingly so they can take care of themselves, ffs

No story, it was an example of a former UFC fighter who would not be in touch with the current treatment of fighters.
Ok thanks. I've tried doing a bit of googling but got nowhere. Still, at least it led me to watching Tra vs Rizzo and Belfort again, poor bloke got absolutely pasted. And I completely forgot about the fight with Igor.

I knew it all along. The man’s a saint.

Former champ is still fighting at 42 after losing 5 in a row, 1 of them to Sam fucking Alvey. Seems Dana really does take good care of his fighters.
