He says yes, absolutely. Dana is a very down to earth guy and if they ask him for something he rarely says no. Also that Dana does a lot for his fighters but doesn't brag about it. Basically, if Dana gives him something, you won't necessarily know about it. As opposed to, lets say, Jake Paul, who gives you stuff so everyone can know about it and talk about how awesome he is.
I am sure Dana does a lot for the fighters he likes which would include Rashid. His been a good company man over the years. You don't want to advertise that stuff and turn it into an expectation.
I actually think more pay is actually bad publicity for Dana with the investors. I think that is why they prefer to top people up with PPV cut rather than a higher base pay.
