Ranking the Sherdog "Upgrade"

Awful out of 10.

I wasn't that active anymore for a good while and can't see this fucking terrible redesign helping to rekindle my interest.

You need adblock bro. This site has looked like an early 2000s virus site for quite some time.

I use Brave browser, which blocks out all the riff raff for me.

Either I'm hallucinating or the avatar size got enlarged and stretched out for some reason. If your avatar size stays enlarged for over 4 hours, please contact a doctor...
 
I was going to say bout tree . fiddy (3.5), but since they fixed the extra clicks on the like button I give it a 7.
 
Right now I'd rate it a 7.

It gets major points for keeping the sherdog forums alive, which the old version couldn't do anymore. And they've already fixed the "like" system so it works exactly like it used to.

I also like that I can see all the emojis even if they're small.

Also, I heard YouTube shorts can be posted the same way regular YouTube videos are, which is a nice improvement.

The reason is not a 10 for me yet is that the text on mobile is too small. And I can't seem to be able to adjust it with phone or browser settings like I can with most other sites.

I also want to get back the option for having 100 posts per page or whatever the old max was.

And posting pictures/gifs doesn't seem to work right. It wants you to drag attachments, which I would think will eventually bog down the forum. So we need an easy way to post images with tags again.

I have faith in the admin team to fix all these things though and will change my rating accordingly.

I had that sorted on the last version. Use a phone chrome web browser. Not needed to do anything else before, but the ads between posts are garbage.

I'm not getting any of that with the Brave browser. So far zero ads other than when I turned off the protection temporarily to see if that would get pictures to show up. Which it did not.
