It's a fact that the judges fucked up (or did what they were told to, since the pink goof seemed to be perfectly happy with the result during the post fight press conference) in the Yan vs O'Malley fight, but I'm curious to know where would you rank this shit show amongs the biggest robberies in UFC history?
Below my personal ranking:
  1. O'Malley beats Yan @ UFC 280
  2. Rutten beats Randleman @ UFC 20
  3. Machida beats Shogun @ UFC 104
  4. Bisping beats Hammill @ UFC 75
  5. Leonard Garcia beats Nam Phan @ TUF 12 finale
  6. Couture beats Vera @ UFC 105
  7. GSP beats Hendricks @ UFC 167
  8. Diego Sanchez beats Martin Kampman @ UFC on Versus 3

Gsp Vs Hendricks was the worst one ever.
Past prime GSP at the end of his career 1,3,5

Yan lost a close fight. There was no robbery. Not like Angela Hill "losing" to Claudia Gadelha. That was a straight up robbery.
It was a lot closer than it was expected to be in hindsight, but a fight can both be close and clear enough to not have any doubt in the scoring. The only possible discussion would be if Yan won all three rounds or two out of three.

Was it round 1 or round 3 that was so decisively clear for Yan, in your opinion, that you think this fight is the biggest robbery of all time?

Hardly any of those are actual robberies.

1- Omigawa vs Elkins

2- Phan vs Garcia

3- Gadelha vs Hill

4- Fukuda vs Ring

5- Sanchez vs Kampmann/Gomi/Pearson

Most actual robberies happen in fights where nobody cares enough about either fighter to make a big stink about it.

Pretty good analysis by the Weasle. I'd rather link this so I don't have to explain myself... It was clear AF and robberies are worse because of the implications and repercussions. To me this one is the worst.

You can add Sherk vs Dunham @ UFC 119, but yeah, you also hit the nail with the "Fights nobody care enough"... that's why some robberies are worse than others. The kind of robbery that happened last night both ruin fighters career and the credibility of the sport.

So just to be clear - your evidence for this being the biggest robbery of all time is a video that states:

"This is one of the closest rounds we've seen in recent time and it's much closer than I originally thought. It can honestly go either way." - @ 5:52

"So ultimately, did the Judges get this correct? They did not, although it is still arguable." - @ 6:31

Bro it was a close round 1 that, sure, prolly could have gone to Petr. There are 2-3 worse robberies every other fight night.
