She was a good gatekeeper to keep around. I liked her. Maybe she'll beat some regional girl and get called back to the UFC on short notice.

That sucks, I liked Randa and her tenacity but it was apparent she wasn't going to be champion. Being cut after a win is still a shitty move by the UFC regardless.

Genuinely a top tier athlete so I’m pretty surprised at this release. Really good fighter to watch too.

She finished up her contract. She's a solid gatekeeper who they can use as a gatekeeper and fill out Canadian events. There's no reason for the UFC to get rid of her. It's more likely they offered and she decided she wants to test the waters somewhere else.

At 36 years old that's probably a good idea. She can go fight some cans in lesser orgs and wrap up her career.
