Fedor is way past his prime dumbass. This is a constant. Regardless of who he fights, Rampage or Saku etc.

I think that Rampage is still sharp and Fedor is sloppier by the day and just comes to brawl.

Page KO inside 1. And I hate the guy, he is one of the biggest POS in MMA.
 
Like 15 years too late. Rampage R3 comeback KO after a fair brawl though. Lot of Fedor wrasslin.

Did you see Chael vs Rampage and Chael vs Fedor?

The only thing physically 'old' about Fedor is his chin. He's still fast, powerful, mobile, and in shape.

Rampage still has a chin and punching power for 1 minute. Everything else is gone. He has shot knees, can barely move around the cage, is as slow as a slug, and gasses after 1 minute.

First of all I will root for Fedor since I like the guy and Page is an awful guy.

Prime Fedor would have subbed Rampage in under a minute. Nowadays he only walks forward throwing haymakers with his chin in the air. Rampage will duck his chin, move his head and counter with something.

I would love Fedor to win but I have it like 70/30 for Rampage. I think this is a great fight for him right now.

So Fedor being past his prime is a constant, but Saku being out of his prime for nearly a decade longer is not a constant?
And had Fedor lost to Saku, you would've still blamed Fedor being past his prime?

Bellator on the 29th, Rizin on the 31st, and then New Japan on the 4th and 5th. Plus all the other million pro wrestling shows held in the beginning of the year. Would be a hell of an 8 days to spend in Tokyo.
 
As much as I love Fyodor I have to admit he is going to get KOd here. With the way his chin has deteriorated and the way he welcomes a brawl, Rampage is the wrong guy to be fighting. Fedor comes in with his hooks and gets countered and put to sleep and hopefully never fights again.

You can say Rampage recently lost to Sonnen and Fedor beat Sonnen but what are the chances that Fedor goes out there looking to wrestle Rampage and lay on him for 3 rounds? Not very high..

This is going to be a shoot out and the man with the better chin will be prevail.

It's a fair point and could definitely happen. But by the time this (alleged) fight happens, it will be over a year since Rampage has fought. He did just stop Wanderlei, however Wanderlei may be more chinny than Fedor. It's not like Fedor has been stopped by light punchers, Bader and Mitrione can both bang.

I am intrigued by this matchup. Especially considering how out of shape Rampage gets now.

One guy has/had good boxing and good chin vs sloppy looping punch striker w/ no chin. Neither do anything but stand and bang.
