News Rampage Jackson: I'll Never do a Fixed Fight.

He who smelt it dealt it.

The fact that Rampage actually has to make a statement that it's not a fixed fight is more damning than if he would had just shut up about it.

Not sure why anybody is surprised by Page's performance. The last 5 years have shown nothing but a complete lack of interest in training and even winning. He's been there solely for the paychecks. Now he's 265+ and you're expecting a good showing from Jackson? 99% of people should have known that the fight would play out exactly as it did.

It's an encore victory for the fans from two legends close to retirement, largely meaningless on their respective resumes.

I think those who thought it was fake are reaching and letting their Fedor hate or 'pro-UFC' or 'pro-another GOAT candidate' or whatever it is that causes them not to like Fedor do the talking

Sadly those that think its fake and fixed will think its fake and fixed regardless of what is said or shown

He admitted he fixed the fight.. he didnt get in shape, didn't train, didnt mentally prepare AT ALL. the end result was obv.
He certainly didn't take a dive, but Rampage full 100% knew he wasn't winning the fight. He was facing fedor and he didnt put in any effort, it was a foregone conclusion & he just showed up in Bob Sapp mode

Quinton Jackson won’t allow a narrative to go answered that he threw the fight against Fedor Emelianenko in the Bellator 237 main event.

It only took moments after Jackson (38-14 MMA, 5-3 BMMA) was caught by a fight-ending punch from Emelianenko (39-6 MMA, 3-2 BMMA) on Saturday for the skeptics to raise questions. It was the first time “Rampage” had been stopped with strikes since 2005, and the shot that put him down might not have landed flush.

Moreover, Jackson came into the fight looking out of shape. His weigh-in registered at a career-high 265 pounds, and the result of all this was an effort that did not paint the former UFC champion in the best light.

But did Jackson compromise his fighting integrity in the most shameful of ways at Bellator 237? He took to social media to clarify that was absolutely not the case (via Instagram).

With the loss to Emelianenko at Saitama Super Arena in Japan, Jackson fell to 4-4 in his career as a heavyweight. He owned up to his lack of preparation and vowed to make changes going forward, saying he would return to light heavyweight moving forward.

I doubt he threw the fight but tbh he seems to have cared so little about preparing for this fight that he might as well have.

The shot that landed was a full blown KO punch, Fedor cocked it back and let it rip with everything. Had it landed cleanly, Rampage would have been all over the place or out cold. I don't think it was a thrown fight, too many people on the net listen to Rogan's podcast and think everything is a conspiracy.

I challenge anyone posting conspiracy crap to take the punch Fedor landed on Page and say it was fixed. I'm willing to accept that Rampage was out of shape, and after taking that hit didn't want any more, you can see him tapping in the video, but calling a fix is pure fighter bashing. If you are going to make such claims then you need to back them up with stronger evidence that some small detail looking "off" to you.

Gotta love how after every Fedor win, you see nothing but fixed fight claims. Red scare or Conor/Ronda fans that just can't fathom a pudgy Elmer Fudd looking guy being the GOAT?

Even Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder can see that shit was fixed. Bellator sucks.

I remember the story he told when he fought Sakuraba he was offered more money to lose the fight, though he legitimately lost, he did have that offered to him.
He tried to kill Sakuraba in that fight.

Honestly there isnt any reason to fix this fight. Rampage coming in the shape he is in,was enough to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. He was unfit to fight anyone let alone Fedor, the LORD and MASTER of MMA.

Rampage should fight Maldonado next.

Look around his waist. That’s the real factual evidence regarding him throwing the fight. He did, by not training. That’s not disputable as it’s rooted in reality via evidence.

Not training for a fight = a fixed fight.

If the punch landed or not is irrelevant.

Rampage wasnt in fighting shape and looked poorly motivated.

He was caught with a big shot to an awkward spot. Hes not some 28 year old stud anymore and you cant stand up to every hit. Doesnt look fixed at all to me.

That's a lot of incorrect assumptions for one post.
