News Rampage Jackson: I'll Never do a Fixed Fight.

Journalism is so wack these days, they take like a single sentence quote from a fighter, and write a gigantic article around it. Fuck off.

By not training and coming in like a slob, Rampage essentially threw the fight before it started. Even at this point and time, not preparing properly or taking Fedor seriously was Rampage giving up before the fight started.

I thought the story was he’d get paid a bonus if he didn’t tap.

That was the story I heard as well.

It's usually the middle ground for "PRIDE is rigged" boys and PRIDE fans to have a gentlemen's agreement, because I doubt we got the full truth on bonuses that effected out-comes.

Old man in bad shape who rarely fights anymore gets ko'd and everyone's first thought is it was fixed?

Damn sherdog.

it wasnt fixed, he just got nailed and gave up like a fat pussy.

At this point, Page is nothing more than a social media influencer, who fights on the side because the money is right. That said, that punch did land and there’s a difference between quitting and throwing a fight. Throwing a fight would imply a premeditated agreement between Page and someone else. I think he got hit and just quit.

"Throwing a fight would imply a premeditated agreement between Page and someone else"

That's exactly what happened. Rampage did not train a lick for this fight. He came in at 265. He was planning to take dive from the start for the extra cash

That punch looks almost completely blocked by Rampage's left glove wtf

I didn't see the fight but based on this gif it looks like he got clipped in the temple. Rampage's glove was more posterior by his ear.

Rampage got cucked by Chael, who Fedor tossed around like a child.
He then showed up in even worse shape against Fedor. Why would he need to throw the fight? He's just bad now

Only reason why fedor tossed chael around was because chael was giving him prowrasslin instruction before their planned WWE sequences. Look at them talking here, lol

Damn people are stupid. That shit was clean. Yhe guard rampage was using is to block hooks so he was anticipating a hook not a cross from fedor.

It was basically what happened to a lot of Tysons opponents. They were getting tagged and they didn't want anymore so the next shot that hurt them they said screw this. It's why he shook his head when he went down. That's not a fixed fight. That's giving up.

Why didn't you pick my .gif, which shows Rampage's head snapping to the right & his face jiggling when being stopped by his shoulder from the punch, to say this to?

doesn't mean shit. If that punch was that devastating, then it would have shown from the other angle too

From this angle, it doesn't look like it did anything hahahah

And rampage was paralyzed mid air from that punch and fell forward like a beginner stuntman taking classes LMAO. Terrible acting.

Rampage's head snaps to the right from the punch & his head is stopped from snapping further by right shoulder. This is evident from the 4th frame of this .gif where his face jiggles from being stopped from moving by his shoulder. Look at his neck, ears & cheek. you can see the recoil.

the snapping back & forth of the head is what causes the brain to move in the skull & fighters to be rocked or KOed.

I am not able to say with 100 % confidence that he didn't say fuck this & sell the fall, but he was certainly stunned from that shot & thew some close shots at Fedor that if they had landed probably would have KOed Fedor

that punch was so devastating that rampage paralyzed mid air and fell forward like hollywood stuntman taking beginner classes?
