I don’t know if he got “clocked”, sure he got hit a few times but he was never seriously hurt and recovered instantly when he did get hit. Song Kenan really hurt and had Ian Garry on chicken legs.

I think Shavkat out mans him & Ian is very positive afterwards, smiling and trying to own it by talking about it being ‘god’ giving him setbacks so he can get better. Then people online will be annoyed by how chipper he’ll sound but will also kinda respect the graciousness, even if it’s mostly him trying to convince himself

Ian Plays the Tag and move game well, but Shavkat is lethal and will eventually get him on the ground. Then we’ll see how good he really is, because Shavkat is no MVP when it comes to grappling. Will be interesting to see how it plays out once it hits the mat. Even if he just gets trapped against the fence. It’s not easy to evade for 25 minutes.

I've always thought Shavkat was the future. Now I have a weird feeling Garry wins this. He just seems so confident. Even in the stare down, he just seems so sure of himself. Really appreciate Garry taking this fight as well.

I favour Shavkat by submission but this fight is much closer than the lopsided odds. I said the same thing before Burns Khamzat, when Khamzat was -550 vs #2 ranked Burns. Shavkat is the current WW with the biggest hype train. I do think Shavkat is currently the best LW but i don’t think he’s unbeatable or anything like that

Garry resorted to grappling against MVP, he won’t have that in his back pocket here if he were to get clipped and look for safety
