I've got Overwatch, Witcher and Rocket League going on, but my coworker was talking about this and how great it is. I admit I've had my eye on it since it came out last year and the gameplay videos look pretty nice, but is it any good? I know there's no campaign which sucks, and I don't use a mic - but can you play against AI? Games like this I tend to get wiped out quickly by other players because I'm a "late adopter" and I know there's no respawn so I'd like it to be somewhat of a challenge, but not veterans constantly taking my head off which becomes zero fun...I also read there's an issue with teamkilling so there's that too.

Thoughts?

The game itself is pretty damn fun. It has some holes though, The wait to get into a game can sometimes be a bit of a bitch, Uplay and ubisoft servers are a complete cluster fuck and the nade physics are atrocious. The ranked matchmaking doesn't seem particularly good and more often than not the games end up being pretty one sided. All in all I'd say it's worth getting if you have some friends to play with, if you just plan on playing against AI I'd give it a miss.

Personally I'd stick to Overwatch.

The matchmaking and ability to squad up are STILL FUCKING screwy as fuck. When I play with some friends we have to get into the squad in a certain order or people can't join it's ridiculous.

The gameplay is pretty fun. Like @RoryFan said though, the nade physics are goofy as fuck.

Sounds like another Ubisoft classic fuckup.

as others mentioned if you can get into a game its great, its a tactical FPS, where you have to plan either your offense or defense.

Another con I have i the content there are so little maps and each expansion only adds 1 map and 2 operators, the operators are fine but with so little maps the game gets repetitive.

another small complaint is the expansion operators dont have there own mini videos like the rest that are in the base game.

It's a fun game, pretty much the only shooter I've enjoyed on PS4. It requires communication and strategy to play well, but you don't have to take the normal or hard difficulty settings as seriously as multiplayer or Realistic difficulty. Basically, it's enjoyable for both the casual and non-casual player.

If you like stealth shooters, you should check it out.

It's really funny but you'd defintly want a team to play with
