Those aren't pictures of ideological violence, though. And that's still nowhere comparable to rightist violence (which even today is far more common in America). Currently, the American president is trying to stay in office after a resounding loss at the polls. That's not hypothetical. Really happening. Also talked about overturning one of the Reconstruction amendments by executive order. Also already putting kids in cages and accusing everyone he doesn't like of being a criminal. We've had angry mobs chanting for the imprisonment of a political opponent who was cleared of wrongdoing by law enforcement (plus others who weren't even accused of anything other than opposing the president politically). The president also collaborated with a foreign gov't that was illegally stealing personal communications of Americans in order to help him politically (it's funny that POSes like Glenn Greenwald suddenly forget that the gov't spying on people is bad if it's done through an intermediary). It's a very short step from what's already been happening to the picture I posted.
