Did Corture win a bonus for submitting Toney? I don't remember, but I would liken that match up to the fight I saw last night.
Then you're not very credible.
Ronda fought a good wmma fighter. She just happens to be much better.

Alexis Davis has twice as many years and fights under her belt than TJ Dillashaw.Yeah, except combine Assuncao's injury with Dillyshaw's experience and record.
You're putting too much cred on rankings. Remember the UFC said Barao was #1 P4P right before he got beat badly by a #3 guy? Yeah their rankings are nonsense.
I just think anyone who is over a -600 favorite shouldn't get paid to beat up the scrubs.
That's not what you said.
You said Dillashaw and experience and a worthy record.
Davis had the same.
Exactly what I'm saying with this thread.I just think anyone who is over a -600 favorite shouldn't get paid to beat up the scrubs.
You realize rankings aren't fortune tellers, right?
UFC rankings are voted by the media.
No, but they shouldn't get performance bonuses for smashing someone who clearly didn't deserve to be there in the first place (as evidenced by the betting odds).Lol, because betting odds are relevant to you and the quality of your opponent.
brb upsets never happen,
brb the favourite has never lost
this is what you're implying.

I don't think Hall did enough to deserve it, but fighting through an obvious injury is more deserving than running through an opponent who didn't belong in the cage with you.
What are you talking about? Alexis is ranked number two. Get a fucking clue.

Beating your opponent in 16 seconds seems pretty bonus-worthy to me.
keep reaching
Depends on the quality of your opponent though. I'll admit not much else happened on the card to warrant a POTN bonus, but R3 beating Davis wasn't a great performance. Did R3 win a POTN for beating McMann?

No dude, he is completely correct here. It was NOT the majority of Sherdoggers saying Alexis was gonna take the fight to a decision or show her real grappling. For the majority it was pretty clearly understood that this was a sideshow freak fight. A minority suggested that Alexis had a chance of taking the fight to a decision, and some of those who were in the minority were clearly just making futile attempts to reassure themselves. Can you find threads where the majority of posters said they felt confident Alexis was gonna take the fight to a decision of show Ronda what *real* grappling is all about?
UFC rankings are utter nonsense and used to justify and hype their title shots. People are congratulating R3 for fighting so often and defending her title, but now she's just fighting because the UFC wants to milk the cash cow. If they can't find worthy competition, they'll elevate unworthy fighters to higher ranks to justify feeding them to R3.
