R.I.P. Koko the gorilla

RIP Koko

Yea I would love it but I guess the average person just wouldnt really care to donate money. Everyone wants to see Koko because she has a story and is the first. The next gorilla to do it wouldnt capture as much interest sadly
Perhaps, but it feels like people will give money for anything nowadays. I'd say it's nore about branding and selling the story.
YouTubers are millionaires Kardashians are millionaires, you can get a GoFundMe page started up and get paid for plenty of dumb shit. I dont see how you can't sell "Real life planet of the apes shit"

Everyone knows Koko, and knew Shamu...and Michael Jackson's monkey (bobo?) I feel like zoos havent really made any effort to advertise anything new.
People make Instagram accounts for their dogs....and they have followers...
A group of gorillas that can do sign language pays for itself on YouTube or Instagram

So um... not to shit on the parade here but... why is this in the War Room?

Is that pretty old for a gorilla? I thought they lived like 30-35 years.
