Quick cocain/doping question

I think i heard Chael say after Jones got popped for cocain that cocain sets of the same alarms on a doping test that some doping masker ( implying that Jones preferred to "admit" a drug habit to taking steroids). Is there any truth to that ?

I've never heard of that though the drug tests I am used to only test for the illegal stuff like heroin, meth, and coke.

Cocaine I don't know. But even non-banned substances can set alarms for other substances on the preliminary screening tests. But on confirmation tests they nail the exact substance in your system.

But say he admitted to cocaine use after the preliminary screening test. Would they then bother to confirm ?

Yes, otherwise you would already have a built-in excuse, since coke is not banned out of competition. Plus afaik they don't even notify you until they have confirmed what they found in your system.
