GSP has 2 losses, Jones has none.
Jones & Silva both officially cleared of prior USADA infractions as per new rules.
Silva & Fedor had great primes but tarnished their legacies a bit by losing to cans later, Jones hasn’t lost.
Jones has convincing wins over so many legendary fighters.

As much as it hurts me to say it, if Bones wins the HW belt, he’s the undisputed GOAT.

Yes but he is mentally fucked, a year or two ago he was banging his head on the hood of a cop car. Battling demons, coming off a three year lay off, cocaine and prostitutes, and high fight mileage all add up. Ganes grappling instincts looked shitty in the Ngannou fight but hes still a beast.

Once Upon a time, UFC was the Bellator of MAA and pride was the top dog. Dana White went over personally with prime Chuck liddell to send a message that the UFC was the best and entered Chuck into a Pride tourney. Then Chuck got murked in the 2nd round by Rampage while Dana was on Commentary. It is actually funny as hell to go back and listen to Dana in commentary in that fight, all excited, and then getting more mellow and dejected as the fight goes on and realizing Chuck is getting his ass kicked.

If you want to say Chuck Liddell sucked because of how his career wound down, power to you, but he was once the best in the west.
