I've read a lot of opinions about his return, but I haven't read anything about how foolish Brock is to take a fight with the Hardest single shot thrower in the HW division. I'm legit fearful that Mark is going to Hurt him really badly. How is this going to benefit Brock's image if he gets beat up by a old short fat guy with blonde dye hair? Because that's what's going to happen and I envision a quick walk off ko. Is Brock a significant betting Favorite?

I have said in other threads that Brock will be lucky if he's not decapitated by Hunt. I think your concerns are valid.

But... I've also given Brock credit for having the stones to return and face a dangerous dude.

What you call foolish, I call balls.

Either way, it's the reason Brock is getting into a cage to have a fight with Hunto, and you and I are sitting our fat asses on couches to watch.

Personally I like that Brock has this 'go big or go home' attitude to competition. It's better than if he just came back to fight some nobody.

This wont at all affect Brock's image. It will only affect his pockets getting as swole as he is and PPV numbers.

I am not worried for Brock's health, but I do think he is going to lose royaly to Mark Hunt. I think Josh Barnett would have been a far better match up for Brock right now.

A fighter takes a fight on which he's a huge underdog:

When you like him:
"Warrior" "Brave" "Huge balls" "Bushido"

When you don't like him:
"Fool" "Should think about his career" "Delusional" "He's getting crushed"

A fighter takes a fight on which he's heavy favored:

You like him:
"A fighter's gotta stay active" "He's fighting real opposition" "Anything can happen in MMA"

You don't like him:
"Can crusher" "Pulling for the upset lolololz" "Ducking x"

Brock doesnt want to be another fedor. If he goes out its on his shield. If he wins it shows he was not a marketing ploy. I can respect that shit.

Brock is doing it for lots of money. He can still win too, and a win against mark hunt puts him in the title shot category. Not that he can beat Stipe or Overeem...

Wizbiscuit is right.

It takes some big cajones to get into the octagon and fight a trained HW KO artist like Mark Hunt. Yeah Lesnar might get his ass kicked, but he will be making a boatload of money in the process. Regardless of whether he wins or lose, his image isn't tarnished. If anything, he should be respected more.

If your gonna do it......fuckin do it. I think Brock is that type of guy.

Warm up fights are for pussies. LOL

Hahahahahahaha.

Wizbiscuit i like it

Dude... I agree on the outcome.

But this is huge. If Bork were to win... Even though it's supposed to be a one off... who knows.

I remember The WHO's farewell concert in Toronto in '82. I have tickets to see them in October. And have seen them twice since '82, already.

Worrying about image and failure, are for guys named Fedor.

I will be watching for sure, but I would like to see a more winnable fight... I guess that's the same reason I'm hoping Bisping - Hendo fight happens, because its about the only fight I can see Michael Win and sell out the 02 arena making even more $$$ before the Chinese buy the org and fuck it all up by making it into a real sport.

Ugh, I don't even want to think about the sale. I hope it doesn't go through.

I think it will feel like staying with a girl who cheated on you once. Sure she appears the same, but you can never really love or trust her again, but she's also still the best looking thing you can get so you deal. Agreed I hope they don't sell, but I think they are just sick of all this Diva shit and Conor was the gift and curse to push them over the top. A combo of the most money they've ever made, but not wanting to deal with the snotty entitlements that come with such great stars like him and others

This was likely set into motion long before Conor ever became a superstar. I think they are just being businessmen. Which is boring.

Your probably right. I just see that millennial attitude rubbing (possible) mob bosses the wrong way.
Things are changing America is becoming too open if such a thing is possible. Fighters are going to just get more and more brash and demand more. The way they have been running the business with significant underpaying of the fighters is coming to an end really soon.
