Question re: UFC PPVs and the 2 diff. Paramount+ packages in US

Are there no more PPVs?

So like fighters can't demand more money because they can sell views? So fighter pay is limited to the purse and no more PPV points?

Help me out here.
Long live PPV in Canada 🇨🇦

Canada is holding the PPV torch now, keeping the beloved PPV model alive.

So certain regions still have to buy PPV and certain regions just subscribe to Paramount ?
Per some posters here, only Canada still has PPV for UFC events. Rest of the world apparently watches on free tv or cable / streaming app.

Finally ufc PPV is done away with in the USA.

I sub'd to the more expensive version on the theory that when a big event comes and the stream load is high, mine is less likely to degrade in quality than the cheaper package. The ads sound like they could be annoying, I doubt they'd actually interrupt the live fight but you never know, but to me the bigger concern was the enhanced quality of the premium package.

Maybe not a complete certainty, but WWE has split screen ads mid-live event (or did, during those times they were on network TV/cable, not certain if they do it on Netflix), and WWE is a part of the family. So it is absolutely possible that the UFC will do this, too, especially considering the network they signed with

I think that's what I'm going to do. The premium package is only like a little over a hundo bucks for the year. And that gives me ALL UFC ppvs for the year? Sounds like a really good deal to me. I'm gonna do the free week first trial next week to see how I like it and more than likely stay with it.

I have my Paramount+ subscription ready to go. I've kind of perused the UFC content they have. It looks alright so far.
