My understanding is all UFC events will be on Paramount Plus (both premium and essential plans). I'm told the difference is the essential plan comes with ads. My question is, does this means it's possible that some random ads might pop up during the middle of a fight? Surely they wouldn't code the ads to pop up during the middle of a live event. I would assume it would be in between rounds or fights but then again, these TV networks can really be sh!tty sometimes. I can't find much clarity on if that would be the case. For anyone who currently has the ESSENTIAL package, do they randomly throw up ads during other big live events (like the middle of a play or the middle of a round etc)?

Ads come up like they do on tv, so typically between rounds and such. It does not matter which version you have.

3 Ads a fight?

The Premium plan is ad free except live TV. Live TV like sports you have the normal broadcast ads like you would cable regardless of which plan you have.

The ad free they're referring too basically means if you watch a TV show or movie they won't interrupt it for ads.

They even put in the fine print for the premium plan that it excludes ads for anything Live

Thats one thing I'll miss from streaming, you could pick the sky sports (now TNT) stream and catch British ads instead of our draft kings/pizza hut loop lol

"This programme contains flashing images of violence."

Love the extra M and the E in program, its so posh

You actually read fine print? Definitely something Hans Moleman would do ;)

Don't forget "coulour"

Do you think those greedy fucks just want your subscription money? They want that ad revenue that will come with the UFC also. Like the poster above said, all live events have ads across all streaming platforms.

With the AD free version, the viewers get to see the corners between rounds, get to see the walk ins, outros, etc.

With Ad version, the viewers will cut away for 30 sec or however long the time is In between rounds and cut back as the rounds begin, you also won’t see walk-ins except maybe the main event, etc.

In Between fights, the you may see extended commercials while on AD free, you might get to hear Anik, DC m, Rogan etc discuss the stats of the next fight, eg this guy comes from a country called Lithuania, was born to a carpenter father and a nurse mom, started training at 4 to combat bullies etc,

I have watched some not-so-legal UFC streams that have actual ads, like watching any sporting event on the TV with commercial breaks, and then the other kind that just show "we are in commercial break" for a couple of minutes...i guess its either of those two options, we´ll see.

Here the UFC looks like it will remain on FOX Sports.

Are there no more PPVs?

So like fighters can't demand more money because they can sell views? So fighter pay is limited to the purse and no more PPV points?

Help me out here.
