question for people with piercings

Im about to switch from a martial arts gym to a legitimate mma fighting gym where striking will be practiced. I am just curious as to how I can keep my lip piercings and eye brow piercing from growing shut when training? thanks

Do your holes close that quickly that you can't take them out before training and put then back in after? My nose used to close within a couple of hours but I thought that was abnormal. I gave up in the end.

Well in that case unless you're wolverine you have nothing to worry about, especially regarding the eyebrow piercing.

I only have my ears pierced and i don't know if an eyebrow or lip piercing closes faster than another, but it depends how long you've had the piercing. If you had just gotten them, I'd recommend to take them off before you start and put them back in right away. But if you had them in longer than 6 months, I've gone a month without having my earrings in and I was fine, but a bit after that it started to shut in the back and I had to "re-pierce" it again. (Aka jabbing it into my earlobe until i got them back in.)

A year and a half? They won't close up in an entire day, let alone one training session.
