Is WWE much bigger than the UFC? And how the fans view both? What is the relation between them?

If you go to a pro wrestling forum it's the exact same thing, human cockfighting, mma is man on man action and so on. It's amost ironic.

Don't know anything about WWE, but it's popular probably because there are a bunch of hillbilly mouth breathers still rockin mullets in the US - and yes, it is more popular than mma.

Personally, I always thought the WWE was gay as fuck, and could never understand why people would watch what amounts to a scripted sporting event with over dramatized "acting".

But go figure, Justin Bieber sells millions of records too.

Both are tiny niche communities overall. The WWE fans are either children or fat weirdos with goatees, and the UFC fans are aggressive, bro-y retards.

It's hilarious seeing people label all wrestling fans as fat retarded hillbillies.

d why people would watch what amounts to a scripted sporting event with over dramatized "acting".

I agree. Every time a friend wants to talk to me about any movie or any tv show or book or comic book, I'm like, "THAT IS FAKE AND GAY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT."

Real answer for TS. WWE is massive in it's own weird way. Like if you ask a random person on the street about it chances are they will have no idea about what's going on. However there are some people that watch WrestleMania every year just because it's so over the top crazy and worth catching once a year or so.

Back in like 96-2004 it was HUGE and was very well known. People like Jay Leno appeared at WCW events and it wasn't considered as weird as it is today. For a brief period it was "cool" in pop culture, like comic book movies, video games, and zombies are now.

There's some crossover between them in terms of fans, but not a ton. WWE today is marketed more towards being a kid's product. However Vince is very into whatever is "cool" for the moment. He has brought in people like Shaq, Mike Tyson, Arnold, Ronda, and Floyd Mayweather for bits. Back in the day he brought in Mr.T and Lawrence Taylor. He tries to stay "cool" by finding what is currently popular. Whether or not it works is different story. They make big money though....

Yes, John Cena or Undertaker would go undefeated in UFC

WWE is huge it's just known to be fake. Pretty much every American above age 12 knows who Stone Cold is. I can't name any new wrestlers or tell you whats going on, but it is a big deal to a lot of folks.

I just dont like it.

You know what else is funny? Euros deluding themselves into believing Vince doesn't go over there and bilk them for millions as well.

Is European football and American football comparable?

No.

I would watch wwf when I was a kid(middle school)

Now I watch mma/ boxing (grown man whit hairy balls)

WWE unfortunately has more money and more viewers and more household names.

Yea, this is true. They do these international tours and shows here and there, and pretty much wherever they go it's bonkers as hell. This mirrors the UFC's reception overseas as well.

Since testing procedures seem to
be null & void if you have the $$$...
yeah, they seem to be quite similar.

With all the exemptions going around,
hopefully we don't see any similar
outcomes for the athletes, as well...

Apples and Oranges. Both are good products . You are more likely to see a UFC advertisment but WWE gets more ESPN time
