I read somewhere that Thor's hammer, to those who are unworthy, weighs as much as the star it was made from. So to all the comic experts here such as,

@Mike @Dragonlordxxxxx @KnightTemplar @Anung Un Rama @BVG

and whoever else, which characters (DC or Marvel) would be able to pick up Thor's hammer with pure strength?

Also, could someone explain the Odinforce and what role it could play in the MCU later on?

Yeah I bet you'd love to get your hands on Thor's hammer.

Galactus obviously

But he wouldn't even need to. He's already the most powerful mutant in the universe

Just one star?

Supes could connect two hammers together and chuck them around like knumchucks.

it's not the weight, it's magic that keeps it from being lifted from someone unworthy if I remember correctly.

If its magic supes is fucked. Shazam could likely lift it then

he actually has lifted it in a crossover event. it judges worthiness, not if your are vulnerable to magic (which most are).

1)As far as I'm aware, no one has been able to overpower the enchantment, no matter how strong they are. The Maestro, a future version of the Hulk, is much stronger than his past self due to the radiation he absorbed during a nuclear war. But he was unable to even budge Mjolnir.

Only a being with Cosmic level power - Thanos with IG, Molocule Man with That Look in his eye, Beyonder etc etc - could bypass or break the enchantment.

2)The Odin Force is an extremely powerful source of mystical energy, unique to the All-Father and his son(when Thor is acting King of Asgard). Given that the Asgardians in the MCU are portrayed as Aliens rather than Gods, I'm not sure what if any role the Odin Force will play. If it does exist in the MCU, expect to see Odin use it during Infinity War.

I think the spirit of the thread is more about who could lift a star?

pffft...I can lift a couple of stars. Have you seen how bony Emma Watson is?

Nobody should be able to lift Thor's hammer with pure strength. It has a magical quality. One need be "worthy" to lift it.
Describing it as weighing as much as a star is just a way of saying its impossible to lift. But if you want to take it literally then Superman could juggle a dozen Mjolnir's at the speed of light, but still be able to build one of these:

But defeating Toy Man is a whole other deal.

The Odinforce is the power of Odin.
Odin is more powerful than Thor.
It is so much power that Odin needs to rest periodically to restore himself, this is known as Odinsleep (God hibernation).

If Odin dies, then Thor would most likely receive the Odinforce and he would be that much more powerful.
