Meeting with those two always makes sense.

Could be I've overexposed myself on the subject, but Manson seems a little played out at this point. He's going to have to do something special with it.

I did really like the first season of Aquarius. Looking now I see the second season aired. Adding it to my viewing list.

He should nab Jeremy Davies. If he ever wanted to create moments with Charles Manson, Davies would come pretty close.

But we loved him in E.T.

Oh yeah. Good choice. Is he short? No matter, QT can just put everyone else in platforms.

I don't know. But he spent like fifteen years studying Mason for a film that eventually came, but only just barely. If I could compare it to anything, it'd probably be like Cormier/Jones2 -- too long in the making, and thereby diminished. He vyed for the role in so many different productions that never made it. Manson permeated his other performances, namely the SOLARIS remake.

Fuck yeah. Definitely sign that guy up. Although he might be a pain in QT's ass when he starts correcting details in the script. :D

EDIT: Oh shit, he was in Spanking the Monkey.

Interesting. This seems way out of Tarantino's wheelhouse, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Not really a fan of true crime. But I ain't missing a Tarantino under any circumstances.

Didn't Tarantino write Natural Born Killers? Or direct some of it or something?

When's he making the next Kill Bill?

Yeah he wrote it. But that was a sensational, stylized, fun kinda thing, cool dialogue, etc. A Tarantino. Seems weird to apply that aesthetic to a true grim murder story, but who knows. I guess we'll see what he's up to, if he follows through.

From the stories back in the day, he so disagreed with Stone's vision of it that he requested his name be removed from the credits. I seem to recall they did, but his involvement was well known.

Could be interesting. I mean, it's from QT so it's not like I'm going to skip it.

I wonder what it would look like if QT made something way out of character for him, like a family film, kind of like how Scorsese made Hugo.
He's talked about wanting to make a melodrama. Something heavily influenced by his beloved Douglas Sirk.

I heard the same thing. It really is a bizarre movie. It's like Bonnie and Clyde mixed with the campiness of the 60s Batman tv show, mixed with a huge bag of mushrooms.

curious to see how QT works "n....." into this script
That'll be easy as pie. Manson wanted to frame black people for the murders with the ultimate purpose of starting a race war.

edit: already answered I see
