It's a strange move by Trump. I don't see any genuine motive for this other than possibly his own personal enrichment. Allowing foreign nations to set up military bases here is a bad precedent. Next thing you know Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Turkey are going to want their own military bases here.

It's called job creation. It's called investing in the future. Now we will see an America that is completely dominated by Chinese EVs, solar panels, etc. I mean we already kind of are getting our butt kicked but this makes the gap even wider.
