Q&A on Thailand

Alright people - is this thread about sex tourism or tips and tricks regarding training Muay Thai in Thailand?

A lot of the viewpoints and lifestyles aired here frankly disgust me, but I very much valued the insight and discussion about Thailand in a training context that seems to have all but died in the last four or so pages.

I'm not the ruler of this thread, but would people mind if we kept the whores, ladyboys and cheating out of this thread and focused on camps, training, accommodations, shopping, traveling etc. ?

It's one big package man. Training and lifestyle. Different strokes for different folks and I for one love hearing experiences from different viewpoints and lifestyles.

some young guys need to here about thai life, can get themselves in trouble training in thailand if they go there with little knowledge and common sense.
as for our veiw on lady boys and people who sleep with them.
we really dont care what others do,as we say not our problem.
i have lady boy friends including parinya from beautiful boxer, very noice person with a heart of gold, good fighter to.
i also have friends that like to sleep with lady boys,2 of them are prominent trainers in a very well known camp in bkk.
we often go to dinner with a large group of current fighters and champs, big name trainers and ex fighters, with a ladyboy and his man.
no one cares.

I'm OK with this thread as long as there isn't any blatant racism or completely idiotic flame wars like the JWP thread that razorbump invaded.

The sex trade in Thailand is obviously a major deal, and it would be naive of anyone to think that a good chunk of the people going over there to train aren't interested in at least visiting a go-go bar, so I don't think the discussion is off-topic or inappropriate. I do think that critiquing someone's personal life is both, so just ignore it.

But if you have a specific question about training in Thailand that's not related to the sex trade, ask it and I'm sure someone will answer it.

The Thai government says that there is no prostitution whatsoever in Thailand.

I believe them ;)

i go sometimes, but usually just piuck up a normal girl in a club.

if people dont like reading about thai culture stop viewing the thread! as badboy said its Q and A on thailand, not specifically training.

im wondering if you have nagging injuries and certain things aggrivate it like jumping rope... are the trainers understanding or will they view you as weak or a slacker?

Don't trust a fart in Thailand. You can trust some of the bargirls, but really, you can not trust a fart. If you are away from your room, 9 times out of 10 it is going to be a juicy fart...

Any more questions?

bargirls all have sick mothers who need money for medication.lol.
im a good girl really,i just do this to help my dying mother.
bullshit, most girls can find legit work in bangkok and most do,but many choose the big bucks of bar work as opposed to working 7 days a week in a factory for 6000BHT.
many normal thai girls are decent, and wont bang until married.
some need a damn escort when you take them out, when i met my wife i felt like i was dating her and her brother.
had no chance of hitting it until the wedding night.

I have a few questions:

1) Has anyone trained with Sangtienoi or heard anything about his training? I thought that he trained out of his home but I heard he's part of some big resort that's similar to Fairtex. Any info on the Deadly Kisser would be great....

2) Has anyone been to Rob Cox or Ole Laursen's gyms?

3) Can ladyboys fight in female muay thai? I had heard that "Beautiful Boxer' has but to what extent I don't know....

4) Now in another thread a couple posters discussed Thai's that did boxing and muay thai-such as Samart and Samkor. My question is do they get their boxing training from their muay thai gym or are there many devoted boxing gyms as well in Thailand?

5) Do I wai to a bar girl after I'm done or is this considered innapropriate?

6) Has anyone got a sak yant done or visited any temples while in Thailand, such as the tiger temple?

i have sak yant.
no need to wai someone who is serving you.
parinya(beautiful boxer) is a friend of mine, she fought a japanese woman.
the medication she takes has stripped her muscle, she would struggle against men now.
samart and samkors muay thai camp had good boxing training.

"She" had a fight in Sweden against a Swedish woman not too long ago as well... Guess that would classify her as female in a martial arts context.

despite losing a lot of strength she still has great skill, she practiced muay boran also.
she also has wicked elbows.

For those of you that live in Thailand, or travel to Bangkok on a somewhat regular basis, what would you recommend as your top three or four suggestions on things that are a must see or do?

I already have going to the fights at Rajadamnoen, and Lumpinee Stadiums on my list as must see spots. Any advice is really appreciated. Thanks.

visit pattaya,good eye opener.
shopping is a must,go to chatachuk market one time, about 10000 stalls, but go early it's as hot as hell.
patpong, nana plaza, soi cowboy are good for a laugh, see them on you tube if you want look.
plenty of temples and palace if that interests you.
cruise the river.
go to the floating markets.
look at the tourists websites theres plenty to do.

Payak, if you get a ONS from a club or Pub, do you pay her anything after the deed or is it FOC?

Also, what is the best way to get a ONS? Charm her through words or buying things for her for free?

i dont understand but im assuming your talking about a normal girl not a bar girl.
same as anywhere, you take her,do what you gotta do then say goodbye,no need to pay her if she aint a bar girl.
just buy her drinks before you go and help her get home in the morning.
but no matter what you do bar girl or not treat them with respect, they are human.

girls have sooooo much personality in thailand, the conversation will just flow.
i have set up farang friends with girls that speak no english, talking was not what they were looking for.
but serious they are lot of fun to drink and talk with.
