GCW had a 16 year old kid wrestling last night and I gotta say for his age he didn't look too bad at all. It was a 6 man scramble match so he didn't have a lot of focus on him but in the spots he did he shined.

I find it hard to invest in the roster when I know they'll eventually end up on RAW or Smackdown where they'll have little chance of succeeding. If there's guys who you think Vince will love and there's no possible way they'll fuck it up, they still do. Just makes everything harder to watch.

NXT was great for like 5 years. Then for me they stopped being able to build new stars and couldn't bring in anyone with real star power anymore. All the people that made it great left moved up and you had guys like Adam Cole (who I never was a fan of on the indies) and a bunch of dorks UE, Gargano, Ciampa before he became juiced to the gills, Kross and a bunch of other jabronis.. Before they signed guys who were stars and it was exciting seeing who would show up. Then it became video game nerd marks who were just happy being in NXT doing bullshit like this on Takeovers:






They started making the show about NXT and the wrestling quality began to drop off. They made an organic good show soulless like WWE does with nearly everything. This what about 2 years ago when it's started becoming lame. Imagine if Tony Khan came out and did this shit. The cheeto eating dusty dick neckbeards would throw a fit:
