Only tangentially related, but I'm really interested in "Depressed" Corbin, because they could take it into a really dark place. Hell, have it where he just goes to wrestle in sweatpants and a t-shirt, and just not even bothering to kick out at the first pin attempt, and have people comment that he stinks because he quit taking care of himself.

Then, you can then spin that off into "Don't give a shit" heel where he becomes even more of an asshole, or use that to slow burn a face run.

Wade Barrett basically told that story.

Wade, Bray, Fandango, and a few others were at a Gold's Gym, and just as they're finishing up, Brock walks in and it's like a movie where everything stops, and Brock starts his workout, and there's teenage kid following him around. Wade and company are in the lockerroom, and Brock walks in and says "There's this kid following me around, he's starting to piss me off", and he walks into the toilets.

This kid who has been following him around just ignores the group of famous WWE superstars in front of him, and makes his way to the toilets. The kid goes in, and Wade then said he heard Brock shout "ARE YOU TRYING TO SEE MY FUCKING PENIS?!" and the kid just ran for his life.

Then "Are you trying to see my fucking penis?!" became a running joke backstage at WWE shows.
