In the first game, Reptile was an incredibly hard fight, because he had Sub Zero's & Scorpion's special moves, as well as being much faster than the other characters.

I know, from what I've seen, they've pretty much sodomised the story. But, it could be an explanation as to why they did that, I heard there's a shitload of easter eggs, references, and nods to the whole franchise.

Yeah there was a ton of fan service which was cool. I liked the movie.

Nah, theatres ain't open yet in the UK, so had to watch it at home. Feel like I missed out with this and Godzilla v Kong.

Chick licking blood off sharp objects works for me.

Goro ain't staying dead.

They needed the monster to get over their new babyface. They can push the narrative the Cole only won because he surprised Goro with his new powers, then have Goro kick the shit out of him in the second movie, almost killing him in the process, setting up the big rubber match for the third flick.

Honestly I didn't mind how he went out, just wish Kung Lao coulda done it. To me it's weird how Goro killed his ancestor, but Lao never got any revenge in any of the games.

That is so a level of nerd investment to know it that it’s absurd. He was overpowered. Scorpion should have appeared and said, grandkid I got this - pulled him into hell for a fight while kid saved his family and finished his hero arc.

Pretty crap film with some good fights.

Also they utterly failed by not using the original music but that always always happens because the musical director cannot just say you can’t better perfection and let’s just do nostalgia.
