Darby Alin and Jungleboy are both decent guys for the size of the audience. They’ll never elevate the program, but they can connect with a small arena crowd and a niche cable audience of wresting nerds. They’re good to have around until it’s time for them to job to whatever the equivalent of the NWO is in a couple years.

In the mean time, only one of them can really be elevated before being written off tv, since the program they’ll need to run, the undersized underdog’s unexpected run at the title, can only be done once every few years, and they might honestly be saving too similar a program for Cody in 2022.
Well
Said and agreed but I think they may turn away some potential casuals when they are in the main event or a oberly hyped

They can get a main event on the tv show, it’s no worse than guys like Spivey and Rotunda getting shots at the champ on tv in the 90s, they just can’t get a big ppv angle against the champ unless it’s a properly built up underdog angle. I’d happily watch these guys get a brief rub then get squashed on the weekly tv show.

The question to me is, mid card and above, how many of AEW’s guys are better than Bobby Roode? He’ll be available in the next couple years, he’s got a decade of experience wrestling on TV. Undersized slightly for wwe so he’s got a ceiling there, he was a throwaway challenger for the champ recently on one of the shows. I think he’d get a main event program on AEW.

Daisys patches for her safety vest were delivered to fucking Louisiana!
This is unacceptable and I refuse to accept it!
