Yo, @lakersfan45 I'm planning on going over a friends house on Halloween and watching movies with them and their partner. I'm suggesting to watch The Mist as they love Shawshank Redepemtion and The Green Mile, and it's made by the same guy. The only problem is that they can't stand gore and sometimes pass out at it. I have a hard time judging what's too gory and what isn't as I'm pretty desensitised to that stuff at this point. Is The Mist too gory or nah?

The word partner stands out to me as an odd choice of word .

The exorcist isnt that bloody nor is the omen

can you go cheesy like the jason remake or jason x to get around gore factor due to shit just being ridiculous ?

I was thinking about The Exorcist as well actually. Obviously there were the stories of people passing out in the cinema when it originally came out lol
