Different world. Everything is linked now...all out global conflict like in WW1 & 2 won't happen again because everyone has too much to lose. Let the middle east sort itself out...or not as is the more likely scenario...and let us worry about the things we can actually change...like all of our myriad domestic problems.

Nip in the bud or you get WW1 (stop the military clockwork) or WW2 (also could have been stopped at multiple times before 1940).

All out conflict can’t happen because everybody has too much to lose? Yeah? How is 2018 different to 1914 or 1939? Huge powerful military blocs hustling. Just nowadays there are more nukes.

The Brits voted for economic suicide via Brexit. Russia is ruled by a sociopath. Trump has dementia. The country that could be the richest per citizen on the Earth with the greatest oil reserves on the planet - Venezuela - is a basket case. China is flexing muscles.

It’s a fucked up world and in no small part thanks to the progressive liberalizing kingdom of SA.

I think you are taking Nukes and technology for granted. All it takes is the wrong chain of events. Theres little wars everywhere at all times and major power players behind the scenes. One wrong move is all it takes. Weve come close before and thankfully had better men at the helm than we do now.

Plus we can take a stand and not let the saudis act like savages and work on those problems at home at the same time ya know
