That's another case of main roster "Let's make her more of a star!" fuckery. She worked so well in NXT, because he gimmick was "Don't talk, kick bitches in the face". And when she did talk, it was one sentence, and they were both perfectly executed.

The first one was when she was in the ring with Nia, Nia cuts her promo, Asuka says "You talk too much!" then just went on a rant in Japanese. Worked perfectly. The other one was when she'd been set upon by Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, and Nikki Cross. She goes into Regal's office, says "Make the title match!" Regal says "Against who?" and she says "ALL OF THEM!!"

The problem is, the powers that be want her to be more "relatable", the problem is, they don't know how. One minute, they're trying to make her funny, the next, she's kicking bitches in the face.

Take Bray Wyatt, the reason why he was so "scary" was because you could run into a guy like Bray Wyatt. A delusional religious zealot, who believes himself to hold god-like powers, and he's convinced these two huge, crazy motherfuckers that he does, and are willing to do his bidding for him. You see that shit in the news all the time. Then he gets to the main roster, and they make him "spooky", he's not "spooky", he's a fucking psychopath with a god complex, they made him less scary, by making him "Scary".

They did the same with Bayley. In NXT, she was a positive, nice girl role model, who still knew how to get the job done, after she gained confidence after being a superfan who got nervous on the WWE stage. Then, on the main roster, she became a 13-year-girl.

As I said if they brought her up un altered she would have been over. The first night they brought her up she got a fucking massive pop. Charlotte came up un altered and shes fine. Bliss unaltered, fine. Sasha and Bayley your only woman to have a 5 star match from Big Dave, fucked over like red rover and now we have this.

Roman was a heel, working as one of those asshole "athletes", who refer to themselves as a "businessman".

So, because those gimmick switches worked, almost everyone got a gimmick switch.

Well, look at Armando Alejendro Estrada. He was brought in with Umaga, he got super over. Then they took everything away from him that made him over. Then they turned him into a jobber. Then they fired him.

Then they rehired him... and didn't do anything with him.

He was literally sat at home for about 18 months, and because he was waiting for the call, his days were "Wake up, go to the gym, go home, get paid by WWE". And when they finally brought him back, it was a one shot with Tyson Kidd's "weekly manager" gimmick, and he was fucking HUGE. So he just made guys look small, which is the opposite of what a smarmy/slimy manager is supposed to to. So they shitcanned him again.
