Both are overrated, but I can at least listen to most (early) Aerosmith songs.

Never have liked Metallica, never will.

I definitely had you pegged as a diehard Metallica guy. Probably the age thing and the long hair. I stereotyped you batdad. Why no love for them?

Eagles RT Lane Johnson made headlines on the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast.

I watched about 10 minutes of the Steven Tyler one and all I thought was this brother has seen some shit AND did a lot of drugs.
Dude was a teen in the 60's and quite possibly the biggest rock star in the world for nearly the next two decades. That's a whole lotta things going on

What side are you on, Bear. I'll just be on your side.

Just was never a fan, and when they covered Turn the Page, one of my favorite songs, they earned my scorn for life (ok, maybe a bit strong but I REALLY didn't like it).

My musical tastes are very broad, but "metal" was never a big like of mine. I was more of a hairband kind of guy.

There’s needs to be an option for both in the poll

Can somebody ask this dude who did the original Turn The Page?

I get that and fully understand it. I think they fucking crushed that cover though and it's awesome. Who's your favorite hair band?

Well I see him on the TV
Preachin' 'bout the promised lands
He tells me to believe in Jesus
And steals the money from my hand
Some say he was a good man
But Lord I think he sinned, yeah

For well known bands I would have to say Bon Jovi has to be at at near the top. Fuckers stayed relevant longer than any of them.

Ratt and Warrent would be up there too.

For bands very few know of I would say Tangier and Baton Rouge are my favorites, with Eyes being in the mix (Seriously, the lead singer has a great voice).

Poison was great.

It's funny, but most of the 80's hair bands were really just more up tempo blues bands.
